JOHN 1

Word and light

In primal hush, the Word began to sing,
No sun, no moon—just breath and sacred sound.
From void to voice, creation took to wing,
The waters parted, sky and earth were crowned.

The Word was with Jah, blazing from the start,
A torch of truth no darkness could contain.
He shaped the stars, then whispered into heart,
Let light arise, let mercy fall like rain.

He walked among us, flesh and fire entwined,
Rejected, yet the chosen knew His name.
Not born of blood, but Spirit redefined,
New birth through grace, not fortune, fame, or shame.

So chant the Word, let rhythm break the night—
Creation groans, but Jah still speaks in light.

Haiku: “First Pulse”

Word before the world—
Light split silence, breath took form.
Jah danced into dust.
