THE PRAYER OF FAITH
Mark (Mrk) 11:12-14, 20-25 CJB
[12] The next day, as they came back from Beit-Anyah, he felt hungry. [13] Spotting in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came up to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it wasn’t fig season. [14] He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And his talmidim heard what he said.
[20] In the morning, as the talmidim passed by, they saw the fig tree withered all the way to its roots. [21] Kefa remembered and said to Yeshua, “Rabbi! Look! The fig tree that you cursed has dried up!” [22] He responded, “Have the kind of trust that comes from God! [23] Yes! I tell you that whoever does not doubt in his heart but trusts that what he says will happen can say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea!’ and it will be done for him. [24] Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, trust that you are receiving it, and it will be yours. [25] And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive your offenses.”

Mattityahu (Mat) 21:18-19, 21-22 CJB
[18] The next morning, on his way back to the city, he felt hungry. [19] Spotting a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. So he said to it, “May you never again bear fruit!” and immediately the fig tree dried up.
[21] Yeshua answered them, “Yes! I tell you, if you have trust and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to this fig tree; but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea!’ it will be done. [22] In other words, you will receive everything you ask for in prayer, no matter what it is, provided you have trust.”

Mark 11:12-14, 20-25 CJB
Matthew:18-19, 21-22 CJB
When you pray, believe
With a thankful heart, grateful
It is done already
IT IS DONE
[Intro – Spoken over synth drone]
He saw the tree in leaf—no fruit, no truth
He spoke, and the roots remembered
Faith is not polite. It moves mountains.
[Verse 1]
I walked the road, hungry for flame
The fig tree stood, but bore no name
I spoke the curse, the silence cracked
The roots recoiled, the sky turned black
[Pre-Chorus]
No more leaves with empty breath
Faith demands the fruit of death
Not just show, but sacred seed
Not just want, but holy need
[Chorus]
When you pray—believe
With a grateful heart, receive
Speak to mountains, they will flee
It is done already—faith is the key
[Verse 2]
No doubt within, no fear allowed
The voice of faith is thunder-loud
Forgive your kin, release the chain
So heaven hears your bold refrain
[Bridge – Kiswahili chant over cosmicpunk groove]
**Nikiomba kwa imani, milima huondoka**
**Moyo wa shukrani, baraka zinatoka**
**Neno likitamkwa, tayari limefanyika**
**Imani ni mbegu, uzima unatoka**
(Translation:
When I pray in faith, mountains depart
A heart of gratitude releases blessing
Once the word is spoken, it is already done
Faith is the seed, life springs forth)
[Final Chorus – layered vocals]
When you pray—believe
With a grateful heart, receive
Speak to shadows, they must leave
It is done already—faith is the seed
[Outro – Spoken with echo FX]
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, trust that you are receiving it, and it will be yours.”
(Mark 11:24, paraphrased from CJB)
