WORD OF LIFE

Word we saw and touched—  

Joy complete in fellowship,  

Light we now declare.

The Word of Life—we saw Him, touched, and heard,  

From first to last, His glory walked the earth.  

Not myth nor dream, but flesh become the Word,  

A light revealed, a love of endless worth.  

We testify what eyes and hands have known,  

That you may share this fellowship divine

With us, with Him, whose throne is mercy’s throne,  

And joy complete, like fruit from sacred vine.  

No shadow dims the truth we now proclaim,  

No silence hides the voice that called us near.  

The life appeared, and burned without a name,  

Till grace gave form, and joy replaced our fear.  

Word we saw and touched—  

Joy complete in fellowship,

So hear this song, and let your soul be stirred—  

The Word made flesh, the everlasting Word.
