Haiku

Behold the love the Father has bestowed—  

That we are called His children, born anew.  

Though worldly eyes reject what we are owed,  

The truth shall shine when He comes into view.  

Messiah laid down—  

We must do the same for love.  

This is how we know.

This is how we know.

We shall be like Him, pure as morning light,  

And hope refines us, washing every stain.  

Sin is rebellion, hidden from the sight  

Of those who walk in Him and break the chain.

No child of God persists in lawless ways,  

For seed divine abides and makes them whole.  

Love is the mark, not murder or malaise—  

Cain’s path was hate, a death within the soul.

So marvel not if hatred comes your way—  

We’ve passed from death to life through love’s array.
