[17] Now, “Adonai” in this text means the Spirit. And

where the Spirit of
Adonai is, is freedom,
Changing to Glory

Moses came down with holy stone,
His face shone bright, but not for long.
The veil went up to hide the light,
But through Messiah, we see it right.
Not written on tablets of the past,
But on our hearts—it’s built to last.
With every breath, with every beat,
We stand in grace, not in defeat.

Ohhh the Spirit set me free!
Not by law but liberty.
Where the Lord’s Spirit be,
There’s joy and victory!
I’m not bound by rules on stone,
His glory shines from flesh and bone!

The letter kills—it points to blame,
But Spirit comes and lights the flame.
Old glory fades, the new will stay,
Reflected in our lives each day.
No need for veils, we now behold,
A covenant both bright and bold.
Like mirrors turning toward the Son,
We shine until the race is run.

where the Spirit of
Adonai is, is freedom,
Changing to Glory

We rise, we rise, from glory to glory,
Living epistles tell the story.
Not written in ink, but fire and wind,
A new creation, cleansed from sin.
Unveiled, unchained, our hearts sing loud,
The Lord, our freedom—He’s our crown!

Ohhh the Spirit set me free! (Set me free!)
Not by law but liberty. (Liberty!)
Where the Lord’s Spirit be, (Spirit be!)
There’s joy and victory! (Victory!)
I’m not bound by rules on stone,
His glory shines from flesh and bone!

where the Spirit of
Adonai is, is freedom,
Changing to Glory

where the Spirit of
Adonai is, is freedom,
Changing to Glory
