🎵 "Pure Shall See" – A Scripture-Folk Song 🎵

Haiku (Matthew 5:8 CJB)
Blessed are the pure—
Their hearts a window to Him,
They will see God’s face.

---

Sonnet Lines 1–4 (1 Thessalonians 5:23–24 CJB)
Now may the God of shalom set you apart,
In spirit and soul, and body kept whole.
Faithful is He—He will finish what He starts,
And call you blameless till the trumpet toll.

---

Sonnet Lines 5–8 (1 John 3:2–3 CJB)
Beloved, we’re His, though not yet revealed—
But when He appears, we will be like Him.
Hope like this purifies, the heart is healed,
Awaiting His glory, sure and not dim.

---

Sonnet Lines 9–12 (Psalm 24:3–5 CJB)
Who may stand on the mountain of the Lord?
The one with clean hands and heart free from lies.
They lift not their soul where false gods are stored,
Blessed with righteousness from God who is wise.

---

Sonnet Lines 13–14 (Psalm 51:12–14 CJB)
Restore joy’s song, uphold me in Your way,
Then I will teach hearts turned from You to pray.

---

Now may the God of shalom set you apart,
In spirit and soul, and body kept whole.
Faithful is He—He will finish what He starts,
And call you blameless till the trumpet toll.

Blessed are the pure—
Their hearts a window to Him,
They will see God’s face.

Beloved, we’re His, though not yet revealed—
But when He appears, we will be like Him.
Hope like this purifies, the heart is healed,
Awaiting His glory, sure and not dim.

Blessed are the pure—
Their hearts a window to Him,
They will see God’s face.

Restore joy’s song, uphold me in Your way,
Then I will teach hearts turned from You to pray.

Who may stand on the mountain of the Lord?
The one with clean hands and heart free from lies.
They lift not their soul where false gods are stored,
Blessed with righteousness from God who is wise.

Blessed are the pure—
Their hearts a window to Him,
They will see God’s face.
Blessed are the pure—
Their hearts a window to Him,
They will see God’s face.

They will see God’s face.
