I long to behold You in sanctified light,
Your power and glory alive in Your place.
My soul aches with thirst through the watches of night,
Eyes lifted to seek Your holy embrace.

How blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for right—
they will be filled up.

My soul desires You deep in the dark hours,
At dawn my spirit seeks You without sleep.
When Your judgments bloom, the world gains its powers—
The dwellers of earth learn what justice reaps.

How blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for right—
they will be filled up.

He said, “Who drinks this well’s water shall thirst,
But who drinks Mine will live, quenched from within.
A spring will arise, eternal and burst—
A fountain of life free from earthly sin.”

How blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for right—
they will be filled up.

The Spirit says, “Come,” and the bride echoes, “Come.”
Let all who are thirsty take freely—become.
