FISCAL
[Mattityahu (Mat) 6:19-24 CJB]
Lay not thy store where moth and rust consume,
Nor cast thy pearls where thieves may break and steal;
But seek the vault of heaven’s holy room,
Where love and light no shadow can conceal.
The eye, a lamp, must shine with single flame,
If dark within, how deep the night shall grow!
Let vision serve the One who calls thy name,
And not the gold that bids thy soul to bow.
No man can serve two masters in his heart—
For one shall rule, the other be denied.
Choose well the path, the sacred set apart,
Where mercy dwells and selfishness has died.
So let thy treasure rise beyond the dust,
And walk with God in faith, in light, in trust.
